Xeppep

Xeppeps are small plants native to Gamila's Mauran Tundra. They are loosely related to the Purple Thornhead, but have adapted to much colder climates. Often called "Winter Coconuts", Xeppep bulbs are very hard and filled with gooey white liquid. Working much like a Thornhead, Xeppep "colonies", which appear as large groups of two leaved plants, are actually composed of a single plant buried in the snow. The different plants come from complex root systems produced from only two original roots that sprout out of the bulb at early stages of life. Unlike their Thornhead brothers, Xeppeps are only buried about an inch underground. They are often eaten by Beaked Armadillos.
