The Winter Toadstool is a species of fungi indigenous to the Mauran Tundra on Gamila. Toadstool spores are very common wafting through the cold air, and often land on wandering creatures. If a Toadstool spore lands on living tissue, it will start to grow and feast. Toadstools grow very fast as well, reaching speeds of over an inch per day. Toadstools thrive on injured animals, giving them easy access to the inside of the creature, and also providing them with flowing nutrients. Toadstool invasions often lead to extreme infections often leading to death.
