I noticed a number of the listings I had intended to code were not actually implemented - perhaps the browser crashed mid-sending or something, I have no idea. Anyway, I've now made sure that the following information works in the insets:
- Discovered: The date upon which the species was discovered (usually in-universe, but if you want to add the date you created it, I've no problem with that)
- Discoverer: The name of the discoverer. Although mostly intended for in-universe info, you can put real life info here if you really want to.
- Distinctive Features: Any unique or noticeable aspects of the creature can go here.
- Skin Color: What color(s) is your creature's skintone?
- Ancestors: Species that this one evolved from.
- Siblings: Related species that share the same genus. (ie, the real life genus Ursus includes the American black bears, brown bears, Asian black bears, polar bears, cave bears, et cetera)
- Descendants: Species that evolved from this one.
- Relatives: Species that are not directly related to the creature but are closely related -- species that belong to a different Genus but perhaps share the same Family. Alternately, you can put in species that are similar in overall design to your creatures (ie, if it was a page for Futurama's Hypnotoad, it could include, say, the Dnyarri from Star Control).
- Members: Named members of the species. If there are too many to place, consider putting in the most important members of the species
- First Sighting: Essentially the same as the above "Discovered", but you can also add events or game projects, et cetera here. You can also use it as a way to segregate real world data from in-universe data.
- Last Sighting: Same as above, but for the last time the creature was sighted.
- Population: Self-explanatory.
I also added the following pieces of info for more precise descriptions:
- Fur Color: If your creature has fur, there is now an option to describe its coloration.
- Feather Color: If your creature has feathers, there is now an option to describe its coloration.
- Eye Color: Most creatures have eyes, and now you can explain their hue.
