An adult Uganian

Uganians are three toed, 4-5 foot tall animals native to the Mauran Tundra on Gamila. They have very thick, leathery skin similar to a walrus's or seal's that allows them to survive in the harsh, cold weather. Uganians have a very strange feeding mechanism that doubles as a defense mechanism. They are covered in large proboscises that suck fluids from other creatures. Uganians are normally passive, using their small arms to shovel snow into large mouths on the bottoms of their bodies and filter out nutrients for consumption. However, loud noises alarm them, and they can turn hostile. Their proboscises are extremely hard and sharp, cutting through the heads of attacking creatures. Due to this clever adaptation, Uganians have no need for speedy escapes, and are very slow.
