Tubetappers are colorful herbivores native to Gamila. They feed upon Canopy Tubers, and often take shelter in Greater Canopies. Their large feet push the floor of the Canopy down, exposing the Tubers. They then suck them up with their trunks. They are noted for their strange coloration, which is due to a series of structures along their sides. These structures produce heat, which disorients heat-sensing predators into thinking they are dealing with a much bigger enemy.
