Ordway Nodons was a Hunyago intellectual and fifth emperor of the Bio-Morph Empire. Succeeding Uparmiya Jobias after she resigned. His reign from 1025 CE until his assassination in 1099 CE, lasted 74 years. Making him the fourth longest-serving emperor behind Sero Fera. He was succeeded by Gundrada Joveta.
Ordway Wyman Nodons Eero Dephona was born in the Morva province located in eastern Lenus as the only child of Eero Wyman Nodons, a professor at the University of Morva. Reaching 300 years of age, the cataclysm struck Mergen. Surviving the initial blast wave, his father was greatly injured while Ordway escaped with manageable cuts and bruises. Hearing of aid further east, he traveled to Esus while carrying him in a man-made cart. Just when both reached a pagan turned anoist settlement, Eero died from his injuries. An event Ordway would never forget. With the creation of the UNM 99 years later, he went to the then-named city of Cyrus. Living under a 'young adult' apartment alongside cataclysm survivors whose own parents were killed. Reaching 400 years he received a place at the University of Esid. Here he would meet his future wife Orva in 333 CE. In 410 CE, he had his first and only son Wyman Nodons. Naming him after his deceased father.
Before his ascension in 1025 CE, Ordway worked as a member of the imperial court and then the imperial army. Because of his success under both Beluss' and Jobias, he was chosen, mostly for his standing in the army, over Gundrada Joveta. By now the empire was in cordial relations with the other great powers. However he emphasized relations with the Rovar Empire over the others. In 1045 CE, to secure an alliance should a war arise, he gave the hand of his son Wyman to rovar empress Adlynne's daughter Eldynne. Inciting the Dagon and Ninsun to sign an opposition alliance to counterbalance this new threat. Within the same year, tensions boiled into the Imperial Clash. Facing defeats early on, his war efforts soon bore fruit given the help by Mergen's religious population. Yet in the end, he would not live to see the culmination of the 54 year conflict as he was assassinated days before the capitulation was signed.
