"You see gentlemen. Any ru can be broken. Their are those in Mergen who believe that the far reaches will never be settled. That our empire will die against the savage hordes of Panatoria. A hostile amurru, will never submit to providence. And it is that manner of small thinking that will say this ru can never be broken."
Nithard "Indi" Walaric is a Hunyago politician and administrator of Morphist Martu. In the Human Readiness Committee, he is known as the Bio-Morph of Peru. Identified as a human named Miguel Ximenez. His status as administrator makes him acquaintance to Nergal's Gul Banu, Enlil's Malakas Lym, Ninlil's Mierva Neesha, Ninurta's Vuifken Herden, Epione's Kunegund Bavacin, and Shamashs' Zeesha Pacatian
Born Boso Remi Ebroin Artaud Koromer as the son of politician Audramnus Walaric and soldier Ogiva Wichmann. Growing up in the imperial capital of Mergen. In 1100 he entered the army to start his imperial service. Spending 40 years in it, he followed his father through the Esidan political arena. Staying as an advisor to him. Through Audramnus' connections, Nithard went aboard a deep space exploration mission. Discovering Martu and subsequently: the shape-shifting Amurru species. When an imperial detachment was sent to secure the planet, Nithard fought against the objections of a then-little known Alaric to simply leave Martu. Stopping a rebellion he started against the first-contact team to force an evacuation. For his work, Nithard was granted the position of establishing morphist presence and becoming it's first and only administrator. Officially as the Protectorate of Martu, a part of the established Morphist East Indies.
Ruling over these fellow shape-shifters as a good addition for the army, Nithard enforced a strict disciplinary set of standards upon the amurru. Wanting to create the perfect fighting force as a solution to the still powerful kingu. Eventually a new problem for his goal came up: the Magkahalo. Crossbreeds between hunyago captains and their amurru soldiers. He countered this by segregating both by gender and species. Only in the end exacerbating amurru compliance with him.
In 1800 CE a protest against Nithard's administration transformed into a full on revolution by both the magkahalo and amurru populations. He hid in the capital's parliament building for two weeks where he was given free access to leave the Ninab system after negotiations with the post-imperial resistance. Returning to Mergen unharmed. Yet he faced great backlash from ardent imperialists for his compromising act during that time.
