The Magni Cinis Mass Extinction, or MCME, was a very large mass extinction on Gamila. It mainly was caused by overly active geological activity all around the globe, causing volcanoes. Ash filled the atmosphere, making most flying creatures and land-based creatures die out. However, organisms in the ocean were mostly unaffected, and some even frolicked in the warm spots created by undersea volcanoes and springs. After the event, life was able to come back onto the land, and much of the ash from the activity was fertile and good for plant growth. After almost 20 million years, these survivors evolved into all the living organisms currently found on Gamila.
