The Exhaitus (Exhaita exhaita) is a small, non-sapient ambush predator that hides amongst the stalks of fluse in their fluseland homes. Fluse is a species of indigenous flora, which is the grass-equivalent on their home planet. Here they will spend the majority of their time, sneaking about until they happen upon potential prey. At this point it will stab down with its spiked tail to subdue the organism, which will be impaled upon the spike with any luck and due to the natural musculatures of the tail itself, it will be lifted to right in front of the mandibles, allowing for an easy feast.
