Darters are small, aquatic scavengers native to Gamila's Paddleton Sea. They live in small schools. They use their small tooth-like tentacles to drill homes in the Coral. These homes are large enough to house the whole school. They have a keen sense of smell, and can track down rotting food easily. If the food is too hard to eat, they use a corrosive acid to soften it. In dangerous situations, they can both spray this acid, and use it to create a sticky bubble around them. They are known for their speed, swimming up to 74 miles per hour.
