Cyanchasm is a super-Jupiter located in the Milky Way Galaxy. It orbits a G type star similar to the sun.
Discovery[]
The Sereno Spacecraft was exploring and discovered new exoplanets in 2020 when it came across a star. The star is a G type star like the Sun, but smaller, with less luminosity. The first planet in the system was the same size as Earth but has similar conditions to Venus. The second planet was the one that interested them more. The planet, which was a super-Jupiter, had two large, and narrow structures on the top of the gas giant. The structures suggested that there was not only life of the planet, but there was also a civilization. It was given the name Cyanchasm due to the fact that it was made of gas, and due to the fact it was blue in color.
Characteristics[]
At first glance, Cyanchasm looks like a giant Earth like planet, or an ocean planet. However, the planet is actually a gas giant, just like Jupiter and Saturn. The planet is extremely massive with a mass of 12 Jupiters, making it close to the mass of a brown dwarf. Although, many mass estimates have been made ranging from 22 to even 1000 Jupiters, these are highly inaccurate estimates, and are not accepted. The giant planet orbits the habitable zone of its star.
Life forms[]
Cyanchasm has two thin, and tall structures on the planet, suggesting that there is life, as well as a civilization (or possibly a past civilization) existing it the super-Jupiter. The life in the planet are adapted to the extreme pressure in the gas giant.
Civilization[]
The tall megastructure (as stated previously) suggest that there is a civilization (or there was a civilization) living on the planet. At first it was though that the civilization wanted this design. This was, until later, Sereno found a structure in a gas giant similar to the one on Cyanchasm but more complete. As such, its likely that they are still building to structure.
Moons[]
The Sereno spacecraft also studied around the planet to see if there were any moons. The study ruled out any moons larger than the dwarf planet Ceres.

- Cyanchasm is the first gas giant discovered by the Sereno spacecraft which has a civilization (or had a civilization).
- Cyanchasm is one of two planets orbiting the star system, the other one being a Super-Venus closer to its star than Venus, making it too hot for life on Earth.
- It is more massive than all the planets in the solar system combined (even Jupiter)
