Berenga Maylogos Waldrada is a branded Hunyago intellectual and bounty hunter who was the birth mother of Alaric Bessas before forced to relief custody for having him under the age of 400. In the Human Readiness Committee, she is known as the Bio-Morph of Norway. Identified as a human named Kai'ssi Jousáhkká.

Born in UNM-controlled Esid 8 years before the declaration of the empire as the daughter of intellectual Cyrus Barom Waldrada and street sweeper Sero Maylogos. She followed her father where she was taught under Sero Fera as a youngling. In 799 CE she was illegally engaged to another intellectual named Agila Chindasuinth and after one night together, conceived a baby. She was able to keep this hidden until her pregnancy became more prevalent. Just after giving birth to a son, her home was raided by police. Promptly forced to watch as the child was taken away from her. The next day she was taken to the Ulgan penal colony to receive the 'waster' brand on the chest and lower stomach areas. Marks that would stay with her forever.

At 700 years of age, she was released from Ulgan after serving 400 years. But the brand followed. Facing discrimination from her own people, even family, wherever she showed her face. She took up bounty hunting to fund herself and eventually found a place with the mercenary crew of Jordanes Ricimer. Using the funds acquired from her work to locate her son.

Appearance

Berenga is a blue chroma morph standing at 6.79 ft. The two brands, the one done over her chest left a somewhat heart-shaped mark with the flesh from the plasma having a light-blue afterburn. The one done over her stomach area is a large circle once again leaving a light-blue afterburn. Originally she wore the -suffix Rada necklace and the Logos head tail covering but had them removed upon entering the Ulgan penal colony.
